So many options when it comes to glass.
From the December issue of Glass Digest Magazine
The basics: A large, custom green, glass backsplash is the centerpiece of this recently renovated kitchen in a 1909 Colonial home in Stamford, Conn. The custom-made backsplash features Color Coated Glass with a tree-bark texture, enhancing the play between the pearlescent green color and light. As one walks past the backsplash, the green hue gently shifts to silver, contributing a sense of movement and luminosity to the space.
The players: Architect, Steven Secon Architect, P.C.; glass supplier, Bendheim; installer, Franklin Glass & Aluminum of Stamford.
The glass and systems: The 10-foot by 6-foot glass backsplash is tempered and highly resistant to the heat generated by the kitchen range.
